Feeding Guidelines
To be fed at maintenance level unless growth or lactation is required. Adult Pygmy Goats will typically require approximately 150-450g per day for maintenance, ideally split between two feeds. Feeding level will need to be adjusted depending on bodyweight, with smaller adult Pygmy Goats typically requiring less than larger ones. Body conditions should be monitored closely as feeding level may need to be adjusted to maintain optimum body condition. The rest of their daily intake should be made up of good quality foragesuch as hay, which should be available ad-lib. Ensure that fresh, clean water is always available.
