TopSpec 10:10 Joint Support is a caramel-flavoured additive which contains an excellent specification of nutrients to support the maintenance of healthy joints, particularly those subject to excess trauma and/or repeated wear and tear.

The types of horses most likely to benefit include horses subject to extreme athletic demand e.g. those used for dressage, show jumping, eventing, endurance, polo, driving and western riding. Also likely to benefit are e.g. the elderly or those working on poor surfaces.
10:10 Joint Support contains a generous combination of natural sources of glucosamine (10g/500kg horse/day) and MSM (10g/500kg horse/day). Glucosamine is a precursor and component of GAGs, e.g. chondroitin, hyaluronic acid. GAGs are essential constituents of cartilage and synovial fluid.
MSM is a bio-available source of sulphur and helps to maintain optimum, healthy function in connective tissues such as tendons, ligaments and muscles. It promotes fluid dispersion at injury sites via its role in the permeability of cell walls.
10:10 Joint Support also contains a blend of antioxidants, i.e. vitamins C, E, beta-carotene and natural tocopherols, to help maintain healthy cells in the joint.
Ideally, 10:10 Joint Support should be fed with a high specification feed balancer e.g. Comprehensive Feed Balancer or Performance Lite Feed Balancer, but it can be fed with any combination of feeds or supplements. The benefits of Comprehensive Feed balancer plus the scientifically recommended rate of glucosamine are combined in Joint Feed Balancer.
10:10 Joint Support is supplied in 1.5kg tubs which last a 500kg horse for one month at the full recommended rate. It will last two months at maintenance rate to help support the joints of healthy horses.
Analytical constituents: Calcium 0.4%, Phosphorus 0.7%, Sodium 0.9%, Crude Protein 12%*, Crude Fat 3.2%*, Crude Fibre 1%*, Crude Ash 6%.
*Nutritionally insignificant because of very low feeding rate.
Composition: Cooked maize, Glucosamine HCL 200g/kg, Methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM) 200g/kg, Dextrose, Sodium Chloride.
Additives: Vitamins: Vitamin E (3a700) 5,000mg/kg, Vitamin C (3a312) 20,000mg/kg, Beta Carotene (3a160a) 100mg/kg.
Technological: Natural tocopherols (1b306(i)) 300mg/kg.
